Scotland: The Isle of Skye

The Isle of Skye exceeded our expectations. As the bridge to the Island was closed for the day, there were very few cars on the loop. However, the remnants of hurricane Gonzalo made for a very windy day! We covered nearly the whole island in a day with Pete expertly navigating the narrow, often one lane roads. Jude boycotted his morning nap after an exceptionally early wake up so he zonked out as soon as we started driving and slept for 2 hours straight. When he slept, we covered a lot of beautiful ground, but didn't dare stop the car for photos!

Even the most adoring blog readers don't want to look through all 43 of my edited photos from the day, so here is a snap shot of the highlights.
Portree. Biggest town on the Island

Pants are for suckers

Windy!

Nice, warm lunch spot

Castle on the far left was closed for the season, but we drove around to get a glimpse
Pete snapped this shot while I was nursing Jude in the car

Real men change nappies in the back of cars.
All Clean!
