Last week Pete went away to chaperone the 9th grade level trip. He was gone just 2 nights and while I am surrounded by expat families where one or the other parent travels frequently, I was still anxious about the single parenting ahead of me. Last year Oma and Opa were around to help out during this time so it was really my first time alone with the kids overnight. Pete had asked Jude to help me out and he was really wonderful the whole time. Apart from some difficult bedtimes going from one room to the next, the time passed and we had a lot of fun! Still, we were thrilled when daddy returned Friday afternoon, in time for one final play date with Sarah, Oliver and Isaac as they depart for London.

| Back at Montessori! |
Maeve loved all the time we spent at ISA. The big kids would chase her around and she never wanted to leave. Hope this helps with her transition there next year! It was good for me to put in some good facetime at ISA as well.
