On our last full day on Paros, we drove up to the hill town of Lefkes and spent the morning wandering the beautiful streets, playing at the playground, finding popsicles and enjoying fresh lemonade at a cafe. We ended at a cafe overlooking the island with traditional Greek food at very reasonable prices.
We thought to drive from Lefkes to one of the beaches on the East coast, but decided these two tired kiddos needed a good rest back at the hotel.
There were a few beaches close to the hotel so we spent the later afternoon at one, Marcello Beach. We enjoyed our last Greek island beach day! Wading in crystal clear water, playing in the sand, watching the ferry boats in the harbor. Maeve impressed us with her newfound boldness walking into the water! She wanted to wash the sand off her hands and decided she liked it! Better late than never!
I took a walk while we waited on our pizza dinner at the hotel. Just behind our hotel was a beautiful windmill and the setting sun.
And after a lot of fine dinning, sometimes you just want to eat take out pizza in your hotel room!
