Flower Power: Keukenhof 2019

Nana and Pops arrived yesterday morning, their 39th wedding anniversary! While the kids and Pete were at school, we spent the day at the gorgeous Keukenhof. Is it touristy, yes. Was it crowded, heck yes! But it still takes your breath away. Our detour to the parking lot lead us by a number of hyacinth fields and a few early tulip fields in bloom. I love this time of year in the Netherlands!

This year's Keukenhof theme was flower power. Like flowers? Yes, see below. No, keep browsing elsewhere!

One of the indoor halls was a hippie orchid exhibit.

It was sunny, but cold and blustery. The windmills were prepared for action.

Another of the inside exhibits has so many interesting tulip varieties! And unique names to go with.

Hyacinths, Dafodils, Cherry Blossoms, and Tulips. A Spring Smorgie Borgie!
