May 2025

Busy, beautiful month of May.

While I was galavanting around Wales with friends, Pete and Maeve got pizza dough making lessons from Nathan in preparation for her birthday party, the Science department hosted TGIF, and Pete joined friends for a boat ride along the canals.

A lovely mother's day. Brunch in bed with Hacks followed by an afternoon in the sun with teacher friends at Strandzuid

Rhododendrons in Amstel Park

Pete took one of his personal days and we had lunch at the beach and a walk in the dunes.

Maeve turned 9!

Cindy's birthday

The Annual Ghana Concert. We finally won a raffle prize- a fancy Arabian perfume- Jude was sorely disappointed!

Maeve performed with the Choir and Percussion Groups

Jude's last year in the percussion group.

Audrey and Benoit's going away present and blow out of a combined 40th/farewell party. We stayed to shut the party down at 2am and got to witness the French circle dance.

Finley's Birthday Party

The culmination of Jude's Primary Years Program- The PYPX (exhibition). He and his partner, Cem, looked into Video Games and Well-Being and did a wonderful job presenting.

Wearing out Canadian Red to celebrate Alison's birthday.

I went to the Kiefer exhibits at the Van Gogh and Stedelijk afterwards, pretending to be a proud Canadian!

Very cool, large scale 3D art made with branches and objects from nature.

Amy's birthday celebrations at Neni

Heather and James came back for another visit! The last time they were here, Grant and Maeve were babes in the bellies! Grant and Lily got their first visit to the Netherlands and we had fun showing them around for the weekend!
