Maeve over jet lag- check!
Jude over a mysterious week long nighttime serious tummy ache- check!
Maeve over a stomach bug- check!
Phew! It's been a long few weeks since we've been back from the States. The sunshine, warm weather, visits with friends and beautiful blossoms everywhere have really kept my spirits high as we've coped with a lot on not a lot of sleep!
I made it home in time to see the cherry blossoms at their finest in the Bos.
And in time to see our Magnolia tree in full bloom!

Maeve in her Oma's dress made by a great-great aunt.
Dealing with jet lag the best we could- night time baby cheese puffs and TV on the sofa. Maeve slept through the night for the second time in her life that night, so maybe we are onto something??
An impromptu lunch date with an old college friend passing through town.
Eating lunch outside with my #1 gal.
Having fun tending to our very first garden.
After school playground time.
Weekend drive to Lisse for their Kids Tulpenpluktuin (tulip picking). I wasn't expecting to see so many tulip fields in bloom already! We just did a drive by of the fields due to above mentioned stomach bug. Stay pretty, tulip fields, we will be back!
Date night bike ride along the Amstel river to the Klein Kalfje for Dutch apple pie and Port.

Highlight of my weekend though: Attending the Easter party at Jude's Little Gym where he ran into a girlfriend from his old day care, whom he hadn't seen in over 8 months. Their reunion was the sweetest thing- hugging each other, stealing kisses, going everywhere holding hands.
I love our social little guy so much.
