Maeve's Goat Farm 4th Birthday Party

After Jude's 4th birthday party at the Goat Farm in the bos, we counted down the day until we could hold Maeve's there. I had a date booked after her birthday in May and then secured a second date in June after it was clear this thing wasn't going away. Thankfully, the goat farm opened up for parties just in time. Maeve's was the first party, post-quarantine. We invited the kids who had returned to Maeve's class at school to minimize exposure. Even though this party lacked the elements of surprise that made Jude's so great, we were all thoroughly entertained, mostly by the children's interactions and reactions to the animals. We had a beautiful day for it and only a few parents got zapped by the electric fence. We were so happy to celebrate our sweet and sassy little 4 year old! 

Maeve was meant to ride the pony to bring her friends to the party, but she wasn't so sure about it.

The highlight of the day for Pete was when Dorothe told the children not to run after the baby chickens, "because if they lose their mommy, they're gonna die." 

One of my highlights was seeing Maeve greet her friends when they arrived at the party. She'd walk up to them and say, "Hi! Where's my present?" We've raised her well 😂
