On Wednesday we went on a catamaran tour of our corner of the island. We were picked up in a larger ferry style boat from the pier near our house and taken to the Port of Alcudia where the catamaran was docked. The big kids wanted to be out on the front net so Jessica kept watch over them there. Maeve was not so psyched about being on a boat until Auntie Rach came to play with her. It is such a relief to me when Maeve wants to go to someone else besides me. Auntie Rach was a clear favorite for the week! Probably followed by Matt, who Maeve asked about every day after he had to go back to work in London.
It was apparently a choppy day on the water so we couldn't stop in the first private beach cove. Bummer! So we cruised around a bit more and made it to another, calmer bay, where we took turns on kayaks and stand up paddle boards and did some snorkeling. While anchored, we had a BBQ lunch and open bar Sangria.

We were promised two stops so on our way back to the port we dropped anchor in a seemingly random spot and went for a final dip. On all of our Mediterranean beach trips, I have dreamed of going out on a boat and being able to jump into and swim in the sea. This has never been a reality traveling with such small children. Having the 5 adult to 3 children ratio made this dream come true! Thanks, team!
