I visited Kasteel de Haar 3 years ago during their holiday market season and wanted to return with the kids. It was my first time going inside the castle and I was very impressed. There was a scavenger hunt for the kids, but we all struggled with the Dutch. We had a picnic lunch on the lawn and then found our way through the labyrinth, walked the grounds to the deer enclosure, and then found a tree to climb. The gardens were in gorgeous bloom and the sun came out. A wonderful little outing 30 minutes from home!
