Sandi and Brett pointed us in the direction of an awesome day trip while they were busy during the week. Zoe came with us to show us the ropes. We drove an hour Southwest to Traunsee lake and took a gondola to the top of Grünberg. The views were gorgeous from the top and there was a lot to do. First, we did the Baumwipfelpfad Salzkammergut treetop walk. The highlight was the spiraling, ginormous wooden structure with a slide- weeee!
Against the kids' wishes, we then hiked an hour to Laudachsee to have lunch ;)

| Ice creams helped motivate them for the hike back. |
The final adventure of the day was a ride on the alpine toboggan run. We'd had so much fun doing this in
Austria 2 years ago. This one was also thrilling and I loved the bonus, relaxing T-bar ride back up to the top at the end.
