After a breakfast spread, it was time to hit the road to the French Riveria for our beach week!

I booked an apartment on AirBnB for the week. Pros: location, views out over Saint Tropez/the bay of Tropez, communal lagoon pool, and beach just beyond the gates. Cons: tiny and no aircon! We did a big grocery shop for the week, settled in, and went for a swim.

We descended upon Sarah and crew as soon as they arrived at their rental in Domaine des Canebieres, about 30 minutes inland in the hills. It was a wonderful reunion with the kids playing all day in their splash pool and the community pool and the adults catching up over rose. We got to watch England win the women's euro cup, too!
